The first intake of apprentices is set to start this Oct in IT Tallaght.
A second and third intake of apprentices is scheduled for January 2019 to be run out of regional IOTs.
Given anticipated expansion and replacement demand, it is estimated that 8,400 potential job openings will arise within the Biopharma industry in Ireland over the next five years.
Over €4 billion has been invested in the biopharmachem sector marking a period of sustained growth. Most of the investment taking place now is in biotech, which would currently be the cutting edge of pharmaceutical manufacturing.Read more
