West

The Ibec West regional office based in Galway represents and services over 350 members involved in the manufacturing and service / distribution sectors throughout Mayo, Galway, Roscommon and Athlone. Approximately 75% of our membership employs less than 50 people.

A central role of the Ibec West office is advising members directly. Each member is assigned an IR/HR specialist to assist with specific queries either through telephone contact or direct consultation and representation. The types of issue that regularly arise concern pay, legislation, disciplinary matters, grievances, contracts of employment and personnel policies. Members also have access to guidelines, reports and surveys on a wide range of employee relations topics.

In conjunction with our specialised business service units in Dublin, we offer many other related services such as information and advice on health and safety as well as representation and information on all aspects of environmental policy and legislative requirements.
