South East
A central role of Ibec South East is advising members directly. The regional office offers a single point of contact for local members as each member is assigned an IR/HR specialist. Members avail of unlimited access to and face-to-face meetings with their designated IR/HR specialist for tailored advice and information on all aspects of employee relations and human resources, including Ibec representation in negotiations with trade unions, before the Labour Relations Commission and the Labour Court on all industrial relations issues, as well as representation at Rights Commissioners and Employment Appeals Tribunal (EAT).
In conjunction with our specialised business service units in Dublin, Ibec South East offers other related services such as information and advice on health and safety, information on Irish economic, environmental and social policy, including legislative requirements for businesses. Members have access to guidelines, reports and surveys on a wide range of employee relations topics via members only sections of the Ibec website.
The key driver of the Ibec regional business agenda is the Regional Executive Committee (REC) in the South East. The committee meets 4-5 times throughout the year to discuss national, regional and local issues of importance to the business community and to input into Ibec’s policy formation.
Ibec South East's current REC president is John Lynch GM Rosslare Europort.
