Mid West and Kerry
The Ibec Mid-West regional office based in Limerick offers services to Ibec members in Limerick, Clare, North Tipperary and Kerry.
A central role of the Ibec local office is advising members directly. The regional office offers a single point of contact for local members as each member is assigned an IR/HR specialist. Members avail of unlimited access to and face-to-face meetings with their designated IR/HR specialist for tailored advice and information on all aspects of employee relations and human resources.
Members can also avail of Ibec representation in negotiations with trade unions and before the Labour Relations Commission and the Labour Court on all industrial relations issues, as well as representation at Rights Commissioners and Employment Appeals Tribunal (EAT) at no additional cost.
In conjunction with our specialised business service units in Dublin, we offer many other related services such as information and advice on health and safety and information on all aspects of environmental policy and legislative requirements. Members also have access to guidelines, reports and surveys on a wide range of employee relations topics.
The key driver of the Ibec regional business agenda is the Regional Executive Committee (REC) in the Mid West and Kerry. The committee meets a number of times throughout the year to discuss national, regional and local issues of importance to the business community and to input into Ibec’s policy formation.
