Dublin

The Greater Dublin Regional Executive Council (REC) represents Ibec’s membership in Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow, with over 3000 enterprises in total. Members of the region comprise small and medium sized businesses as well as large indigenous and foreign owned operations. A large number of sectors are represented, including pharmaceutical, food and drink, medical devices, financial services, retail and ICT. Ibec influences decision making and policy formulation in the interest of its members in the region with the objective of promoting enterprise and meaningful employment.

The REC is active in a range of policy areas that influence work and living in the region, these include:

Innovation
Energy
Social infrastructure
Employment

The REC meets on a regular basis throughout the year and provides input to Ibec National Policy on behalf of the region. The President is Garrett Sherry, Vice President and General Manager EMEA, Prometric Ireland Ltd
